Childish và Childlike khác nhau như thế nào? Bạn có phân biệt được Cloths và Clothes không?

1. Childish và Childlike

Cả hai tính từ này đều liên quan đến các đặc điểm của một đứa trẻ. Childish - có nghĩa là ngớ ngẩn hoặc chưa trưởng thành - thường mang tính tiêu cực. Childlike - có nghĩa là dễ tin hay ngây thơ - thường mang tính tích cực.

Ví dụ:

- Everyone was embarrassed by Kevin's childish outburst.

(Mọi người đều xấu hổ vì cơn giận trẻ con của Kevin).

2. Clothes và Cloths

Danh từ clothes có nghĩa là quần áo.

Cloths là số nhiều của cloth (vải).

3. Complement và Compliment

Hai từ complement và compliment là đồng âm khác nghĩa.

Complement có nghĩa là bổ sung để mang đến sự hoàn hảo.

Compliment là biểu hiện của lời khen ngợi hay một hành động thể hiện sự tôn trọng hay phê duyệt.

Cả hai từ có chức năng danh từ và động từ.

Ví dụ:
